Dr. Fuhrmann facilitates development experiences through leadership programs, retreats, and coaching in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. She focuses on developing the full capacity of each individual through fostering greater awareness of their internal environment and personal operating assumptions in order to be more capable of working with complexity, uncertainty, and change. Her perspectives on learning and development are built from twenty years of experience in the field of executive education and her studies in adult learning and development, leadership coaching and development, and depth psychology.
As Co-Founder and Principal at The Conscious Leadership Institute, Pam has experience working with leaders at Aditya Birla Group, Engie, ExxonMobil, Indus Towers, Ingersoll-Rand, Kohler Company, Mahindra & Mahindra, Philips Lighting, Polaris Software, Schneider Electric Industries, SCOR, United Way, and various regional non-profits.
Pam received a Ph.D. in Mythology and Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, 2012. Doctorial writings on the role of the archetypal feminine in individual development, particularly in the areas of building relationship with other; managing paradox, ambiguity, and change; and developing an inclusive orientation. Complementing her doctoral work is her M.Ed.in Educational Psychology from Indiana University, 2006, with a focus on adult development and narrative as a learning and leadership channel. Additionally, Pam is an International Coaching Federation Certified Coach, completing the Organizational and Leadership Coaching program from Fielding Graduate University, and is certified in several coaching assessments and approaches.
Previously, Pam served as the Director of Finance and Operations for the Office of Executive Education at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. Her experience ranged from building new lines of business, the administration of corporate relationships, and the management of HR functions, to financial forecasting and planning, and the development of financial policy and practices. Additionally, Pam has worked for a solution-driven online education firm with responsibilities in business development, instructional design, and project management.
